VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING ORGANIZATION PROJECT:
ORPHANS AND HOMELESS PEOPLE, YEAR 2019 - 2024
Realizing that rescuing the poor orphans from poverty, misery, as well as ignorance (uneducated), or getting them out of poverty and equipping them with sufficient knowledge by means of direct support to those poor children;
Realizing that such direct support is not permanent and also costly. In the past, our organization has implemented such a plan, as well as donated learning materials such as books, pens, pencils, erasers, bags, clothes and bicycles, etc., especially sponsored 30,000 Riels per person per month for a period of one year.
Because our organization has experienced in providing supports in this way and it has failed because it was costly; especially, the orphan's parents did not understand the value of their children's education, and they did not even encourage their children to go to school, but only encouraged them to drop out of school or suspend their studies so that they could help earning money to support their family. They were worrying less about their children's education. He thought only of living or just gambling, drinking, wasting their time in vain, and leaving their children to help supporting the family.
Moreover, they thought that their child would not success in their education because they were poor and could not afford to support their children to get high education. If they kept their children to help with their work, it would be better than to let them go to school.
Our organization primarily focuses on the exploitation of the labor force, all forms of child abuse, and the participation in reducing school dropout of poor orphans and homeless people, by encouraging such poor orphans to return to school. There are some poor orphans living with single mother, single father, grandparents who cannot afford to support them, and with relatives.
At the same time, for this activity to be successful, we need to focus on parents or guardians, because parents and guardians are one of the most influential catalysts in encouraging the poor orphans who are their children to easily and consistently go to school.
We are, of course, poor families, poor widows, or poor people with disabilities. If we want to do something as successful as other capable people, we must first form a strong network, alliance or team. Such network or group must unite as one spiritual force, must help solve all the obstacles that arise, help each other physically, financially and mentally; shortly, to help as much as possible.
In order for the poor orphans to get easy access to education, we need to educate their parents or guardians by explaining them by all means so that they can understand the real meaning of life as well as advantages and disadvantages of their child's education; and especially, to train them mentally to know how to change their lives for the better. In order for them to be able to change their lives for the better, we need to create their small handicraft or fund alliance for them (called the Cambodian Citizens' Alliance for Cambodian) and to set up a forum or workshop for their education and training.
This small handicraft was established with the aim to:
1- Encourage parents to send their children to school.
2- Promote Buddhism.
3- Organize their network so that they are united and help each other.
4- Help poor families, widows and disabled.
5- Create job opportunities for them.
6- Create jobs for the community.
7- Improve their standard of living.
8- Reduce poverty in society.
9- Prevent the migration of the poor.
10- The benefits from handicrafts (i.e. profit) are the
dividends to support their families and the handicrafts.
Membership conditions for handicraft:
1- Must absolutely encourage and motivate their children to go to school.
2- Is really poor.
3- Has gone through and overcome the trials of life.
4- Permanent resident in the village or town.
5- Is a person who has a real desire to fight against poverty.
6- Respect, love, understand and tolerate each other.
7- Is a person who is not racist.
8- If a member violates the conditions mentioned above, the Commission will invite that person to educate, guide and the final step is to terminate the membership.
Every half month, they must be educated and informed about:
- Their parenthood and guardianship.
- The effects of domestic violence, mediation and resolution of domestic conflicts.
- The impact of migration.
- The advantages and disadvantages of their children’s education (encourage and motivate).

This library was constructed for the purpose to:
1- Keep children loving and enjoying reading.
2- Encourage pupils, students to read and to do research.
3- Promote reading.
4- Maintain ideas, consciousness and achieve an ideal.
5- Contribute to the development of human resources.
6- Considered as a repository of knowledge of all kinds and all generations.
